I was so grateful when my husband had truck bed steps installed on my truck. Living on a ranch, it is important to be able to haul all kinds of things. I haul pretty much anything that can be moved on our ranch. Fence posts, bails of hay, milking equipment, farming equipment and such. However, for a short gal like me, trying to lift some of the stuff up on the bed of a truck can be a challenge. So one can only imagine my joy when my husband got truck bed steps installed.
My husband had considered getting some of those truck ladders, but he did some looking for me and decided that I would like the bed steps. They give easy access to the truck, and for me that is key. The steps flip down when I need them, and then I flip them back under the fender. I don’t know who invented the steps, but since I have had them I can’t imagine living without them. I am hoping that soon we’ll be able to get a truck step so that I can get into the cab easier. I’m only five feet tall, and most days I feel like I have to be a high jump star just to reach the seat. For now, I’ll simply count my blessings that I have truck bed steps.
