I decided to finish the college degree that I have been putting off for a long time. I was really nervous about being an adult and having to go to classes with a bunch of young teenagers. I was feeling intimidated by the thought of sitting alone in class and feeling stupid for not finishing it when I was younger.
When I registered, I learned that I could take most of my classes using the online education software that the school offers. This way I wouldn’t need to be in most of the day classes. I could finish my classes from the comfort of my house sitting in my pajamas eating my cereal if I felt like it. I really love the idea of using the online education software especially because now I don’t need to find child care for my three young children. This was going to be fairly costly for our family but we decided that the sacrifice would be worth it in the end. Now it is less of a sacrifice and less of a stress.
Schooling for anyone can be stressful but it is especially stressful for an adult returning to school. I feel like there is a lot of pressure on me to finish that wasn’t there when I was younger. I am stronger now though so I will not let the stress get to me and I will finish.
